A man was found dead in a sex swing in Hove over the weekend, police have said.
The 53-year-old man was found in the harness at 9.15pm on Friday by his son, according to locals.
There were also a number of gas cylinders around the body, but it is not currently known what the substance was inside them and neighbouring houses were evacuated.
A hazardous area response team was also called, but it was ‘soon determined that there was no threat to public safety’.
A spokesman said: ‘Police are not treating the death as suspicious and the coroner has been informed.’
Sex swings are are harnesses designed to allow sexual intercourse while a partner is suspended while the other moves freely.
