#SoundOff: Federal Allocation: Stolen Money Shared Among Thieves

Must read

by Godsgyft St. Pius

As long as nobody works for Nigeria money, nobody has the right to question anybody. Until good people of Nigeria fight the good fight of true federalism, we shall continue to deceive ourselves in the guise of fighting corruption while we enjoy the corruption that feeds the nation.

What is the difference between someone that took money that doesn’t belong to him and some states sharing what doesn’t belong to them every month? To me and every right thinking citizen, there is no difference!

If you want to fight for equity, fairness, and justice, fight for a change of system. The indolent states that sit down doing nothing and collecting compulsory monthly allocations from resources generated from other states are worse than all these corruption that people are shouting about. This may not be of great concern to most Nigerians because they benefit directly from it.

The US, UK etc don’t operate this conspiratorial system of government.

We keep blaming the individuals when corruption feed the nation.

What a lazy system!

The whole of Nigeria money (budget) is stolen money, so, it’s a matter of THIEVES stealing STOLEN money.

Shouting corruption and not saying anything about true federalism, and resource control etc is like calling someone thief because he outsmarts you from the common LOOT.

What a shame to the nation.
