The Bible tells us about Jabez who was born in pain. Because of the circumstances of his birth, he was given the name, and it became a prophecy which affected him: life was hard for him. But you know, Jabez didn’t commit suicide or do crime, neither did he give up; he prayed.
1 Chronicles 4:9-10 says, that Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, “Oh, that You would indeed bless me and enlarge my territory, that Your hand might be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that it may not bring me hardship!” And the Bible says that God granted what he asked.
There’s hope for everyone who’s alive irrespective of their present condition of life! Let me say it another way: there is hope for everyone who has the ability to pray. Prayer is talking to the One Who has the power to do anything and to change any life. When we pray to Him in faith He will definitely hear us and grant our requests.
So cheer up! There’s hope for you! By the end of this year the difference in your life will be evident to all! Amen!
