A great future requires great preparation. Wise people start today to prepare for the future they desire. Never live for only today; it is a very unwise way to live. It’s a mistake that a lot of us have made before now, but it’s never late to start something good.
David said that his son, Solomon, was young and inexperienced. Preparing for the future is not complete without preparing our younger ones to take over from us, and to continue from where we stopped. The younger ones are our future; they are the greatest investments we will ever make; they must never be ignored.
Your time on earth is limited: between now and when you die what are you going to do in order to leave an enduring legacy? Jesus Christ erected no structures, but He founded a Church (a group of people who He made just like Himself through His teachings), filled them with the Holy Spirit, and till today; as a matter of fact, till eternity, the world will never recover from the impact of His ministry. He is Lord forever!
You are not successful until you have raised people to do exactly what you can do, and to be greater than you. The future begins now!
Prophetic Declaration
The future is bright, and I am taking steps by the Spirit and wisdom of God, to lay a solid foundation for posterity. The work of God will not end with me; the vision that God has given me will not die with me; it will endure for generations, in Jesus name. Amen.
