The Pharisees did their best to stop Jesus, but they failed; and even when they killed Him, His death made matters worse for them because many more people believe in Him: the Bible says that if they had known, they wouldn’t have crucified Him.
Jesus is King and He will reign forever in Heaven and on Earth. The entire world may gang up against Him, but He can never be conquered: from the time that He was born, when Herod tried to kill Him, no man has been able to stop His advancement and popularity. He said, If I be lifted up on the cross, I will draw all men unto Myself.
As the Church of Jesus Christ and members of His body, we are indestructible. Nobody can stop the work of God, neither can anyone stop the growth of the Church. Jesus said that He would build His Church, and that the gates of Hell would never prevail against it.
Persecution never hinder the spread of the gospel; as they persecuted the believers, they went everywhere preaching the gospel! And that must be our response today: the more they try to stop us, the more we preach and the more souls we win! Refuse to be stopped; you are destined to win! Amen.
