France Under-21 international, Anthony Martial has joined premier league side, Manchester Unted in a £36m deal.
The four-year deal comes with the option of a fifth year and the clauses embedded in the contract can cause the transfer to rise to £58m and one of such clauses is the player winning the Ballon d’Or award
The 19-year-old has been handed the number 9 jersey at Manchester United. Martial scored eight goals in 31 Ligue 1 games for Monaco last season.
This is the world’s most expensive transfer fee ever for a teenager. The record was previously held by Luke Shaw who was signed by Manchester United from Southampton for £27m.
