The protest by the Biafra agitators under the auspices of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) turned both bloody and deadly after a soldier gunned down one of the protesters in Igwe Ocha, Port Harcourt.

The incident reportedly happened on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 as the man was trying to escape from the trigger-happy soldier, according to a Facebook Post by Naij.com.

The source said: “The man was shot at the back while running from the army personnel. The protesters have gone wild following the killing of one of them.”

Meantime, the police has not issued an official statement to ether confirm or rebuff the reports which attracted several reactions from Facebook users.

Governor Nyesome Wike had on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 issued a statement warning Biafra protesters against further protest in the state.
