On the allegation against Mr Inyangeyen as sponsoring the alleged plot to impeach Governor Udom Emmanuel, Prince Ituen said, such blackmail is dead on arrival. He explained that, some disgruntled persons are behind such smear campaigns to score cheap political goals, regretting that, sometimes even highly placed officials engage the service of blackmailers in desperate attempts to tarnish the hard won reputation of their perceived or imaginary political rivals.

Prince Ituen exonerated Commissioner Inyangeyen from such fictional plot, insisting that he is a fiercely loyal and dependable aide of Governor Udom Emmanuel, whose passion for service is excellent.

On his fortieth birthday, Prince Ituen thanked God Almighty for being gracious to him and sparing his life. He said, he remains more determined than ever to work hard for the betterment of his constituents and Akwa Ibom State.
