Impeached former governor of Adamawa state, Murtala Nyako, who, together with his son was declared wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for for criminal conspiracy, stealing, fraud and money laundering has returned to Nigeria after spending months in Europe.
On hand to receive Nyako upon arrival were Senator-elect, Binta Garba (Adamawa), Senators Abdullahi Adamu (Nasarawa) and Danjuma Goje (Gombe).
Senator Bukola Saraki also paid Nyako a visit, according to reports.It remains to be seen if the EFCC would arrest and prosecute Nyako or his case would be shelved because his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) is now the ruling party.
