A generous 5-year-old boy has suddenly become an internet sensation after he told his mum to do something very amazing to a stranger.
Josiah Duncan was said to have been eating at a Waffle House restaurant in Prattville in Alabama when he saw a homeless man outside.
Duncan who didn’t understand what it meant to be “homeless” repeatedly threw some very serious questions to his mother, Ava Faulk, about the poor man.
He asked, “Where is his house? Where is his family? Where does he keep his groceries?”
When his mother explained to him that the man didn’t have any food, Josiah refused to accept that and rather pleaded with his mum to buy the man a meal.
Faulk actually cooperated and bought the poor man some food after he was given a menu to choose whatever delicacy he wanted, according to USA Today.
Faulk said, “The man insisted on a cheap hamburger to start, but he was assured he could have anything he wanted. He got the works.
The man asked, ‘Can I have bacon?’ and I told him get as much bacon you want.”
Duncan said the Grace with the man as the food was served. “He even wanted to bring him home with us.
“I said, ‘You can’t bring home people you don’t know.'”
In the days since Josiah’s story went public, it has exploded on the Internet.
Duncan’s story has been picked up by media sites all over the world and was a top-trending item on Facebook on Tuesday, May 19, 2015.
“He’s a people person. He does not meet a stranger. He loves everybody. He’s really a cool kid I might be biased and everybody loves him.”
