A woman who wanted to deal with her boyfriend after she caught him in a steamy sex escapade with a woman hung signs on the entrance door of his apartment and at the gate which read, ‘I am a cheat’ and ‘I am a cheater, I slept with another woman’.
As if that was not enough, the cleaner, Lynn Bennett, 43, from Goole, East Yorkshire, United Kingdom also hung up multi-coloured party balloons to ensure that the sign caught the attention of a handful of passers-by and make the man feel really embarrassed.
Just as planned, the sign attracted a massive crowd who trooped outside the building and took shots with of the sign while awaiting the man’s arrival, Mail Online reports.
Obviously happy with the positive result she got, Bennett said, ‘It only took ten minutes but it was the best revenge.
‘I knew the best way to embarrass him was to make sure his neighbours knew!
She said she suspected her boyfriend of three and half years was seeing another woman behind her back this past Sunday and decided to pay him a surprise visit.
On getting to the house, Bennett alleged that her boyfriend’s strange attitude even aroused more suspicion after he took long before he allowed her into the house.
She ransacked the entire house to find out what was amiss and was stunned when she stormed the bedroom and discovered a woman clad in just her under wear.
She was heartbroken and ended the relationship but determined to demand her pound of flesh on her cheating boyfriend.
She said, ‘I did have my suspicions because he keeps some tools in this woman’s shed.
‘They’ve been in contact far too regularly for my liking. But I never thought it would come to this.
‘He took ages to answer the door and then when I got up there and saw the woman I realised why – I had definitely caught them in the act.
‘That was it then, I screamed that it was over. I am never taking him back – good riddance!
‘But I wanted to get some revenge and I knew the best way to do it was to let his neighbours know and some balloons seemed to add to the occasion.
‘It was only really for the few people next door but he lives on a main road so I suppose it’s got a bit more attention than I’d realised.
‘At least this gave me something to laugh about – if I didn’t laugh, I’d cry!’
People took shots of the 45-year-old man as he returned to meet the surprise on his gate and doorpost on Friday, February 6, 2015 but could not utter a word of the issue to anyone.
