A woman has played the role of Good Samaritan in an unorthodox way after smashing the window of a car to save a baby who had been left locked in by the father who had gone in to the supermarket, according to reports.
The woman, Angela Radtke said she was initially stopped by other passers-by who trier to talk her out of smashing the window, saying she could be arrested, but the undeterred woman proceeded to breach the wind shield and saved the one-year-old baby.
She tried to locate the owner of the baby in the Texas supermarket to no avail. CCTV footage later showed that the baby had been left in the car for more than forty minutes
Radtke said: “I felt like some people were scared. And they didn’t want to be liable because the security guard was yelling that I could possibly be arrested for breaking the window. The baby was red and looked uncomfortable. I don’t care if I get arrested I’m going to save this baby.”
