A woman, named Lois Matykowski from Stevens Point in Wisconsin of the north-central United States, who had lost all hopes of finding her wedding ring after five years had recovered it in the most shocking way ever.
As reported by WAOW.com, Matykowski and her granddaughter were out in the yard enjoying Popsicles on a hot day before the family dog named Tucker appeared.
Matykowski explained that the dog is known in the family to be the food burglar.
She said, “After I turn around and I look at my granddaughter, the Popsicle is gone and there’s Tucker you know, smacking his jaws.”
The dog swallowed a stick and puked almost immediately.
“Stick and all, everything came out,” Matykowski recalled.
After two days, Tucker started throwing up yet again and this time around, the missing ring of five years came out.
The overjoyed owner said, “I look in the paper towel and here is my wedding ring.
“I kid you not. My wedding ring was in Tucker’s puke!”
According to Matykowski she felt “devastated” five years ago after the ring went missing.
“How do you replace something like that? Not only the value of the ring but just the emotional ties,” she said.
“I’m just elated that he threw up on the carpeting and I don’t even care.
“So I have my wedding ring back and Tucker is big dog on campus right now. He’s my hero,” said the highly elated woman.
Funny as it might sound, the dog was taken for an x-ray to see if he had more valuables inside his belly but none was discovered.
