[dropcap]A[/dropcap] toy steam locomotive from the famous Ukrainian company UGEARS hit the US market in 2015 and immediately captured the hearts of American modeling enthusiasts. At the moment, the company’s assortment contains about 55 different puzzles, but the 3D wooden train puzzle attracts customers’ attention most of all. It is one of the hardest models of all items manufactured by UGEARS. It consists of over 400 parts, both large and small; so, it is not recommended for people under 14 years of age. All parts interact closely with each other, and they are driven by a rubber band motor. It is a great example of a locomotive since it looks very realistic. Moreover, the puzzle is worked out to the smallest detail: you can see how the pistons and valves work, open some doors, and even observe the engineer’s cabin, which is well equipped. It is a truly unique model.

The set includes a locomotive, an additional car for transporting fuel, and a railway. All parts are made of high-quality wood, and no glue or special tools are needed to assemble them. There are 443 parts required for assembling a complete model. It is the most difficult puzzle, which can take up to 19 hours to complete. Nevertheless, in the useful instruction attached, all the stages of the assembly are clearly described step by step.

Precautions

The kit contains very small parts; so, it should be kept out of the reach of small children. It is not recommended to give the construction set to children under 14 years of age. Do not use glue or additional tools – they can ruin the parts and make it impossible for the locomotive to move.
