Sunday Igboho, the famous Yoruba nation agitator, real name, Sunday Adeyemo, has bagged an honorary doctorate from the Triune Biblical University based in New York, United States of America.
Igboho, an agitator for the independent Odudua Republic carved out of South West Nigeria, has been was arrested in Cotonou, Benin Republic, in July last year, for the alleged falsification of his passport.
The secession agitator was detained in prison in the Benin Republic and released in March 2022 on medical ground. He was barred from leaving the West African country.
Before then, the Department of State Services (DSS) declared he was wanted for allegedly stockpiling weapons in his home.
Taking to his Instagram page on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 Igboho shared the certificate and a series of pictures from the event.
“Congratulations to me as I was conferred Doctor of peace and security management/international relations with specialization in war/conflict and peace studies from Triune Biblical University, USA,” he wrote.

Some of those present to witness the occasion include Banji Akintoye, leader of the Yoruba self-determination movement; Banji Ayiloge, vice chairman of the Yoruba self-determination movement; Wale Adeniran, vice chairman of Ilana Omo Odua, and Titi Aboyade Cole, the publicity director of YSDM.
