#SoundOff: APC And The Corruption Of Backdoor Recruitments

Must read

by Kelechi Deca

The speed and manner the APC is working so hard not only to resurrect the comatose PDP, but to force Nigerians into yearning for alternative and reliable political platform come 2019 is both numbing and bewildering.

Never before (maybe the PDP) have I watched a political party sweat to dig its own grave.

How on earth can a political party that rode to power on the back of mass support, promising massive job creation for the unemployed and better life for the poor, engage in secret backdoor recruitments of mostly children of the rich into key government agencies.

First it was the Central Bank of Nigeria, you kept quiet.

Second, it was at the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), you looked the other way…

Now, it is the Nigerian Prisons Service, and you still want us to believe this political party does not have a hidden agenda?

Which federal government ministry, agency, or parastatal will be next, and by the time they are through fixing children of the rich, the rest of poor Nigerians can “go and die”…

If there are openings for jobs no matter how small, why not advertise it and ensure at least 30%is by merit?

I’ve been thinking about some of the things that have been happening in recent times, and it points to the rumour that there is a government within this government.

This government should as a matter of urgency debunk this growing insinuations not by words of Lai Mohammed but by actions.
