A pregnant 22-year-old woman was raped to death on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 in Kano State.
The bereaved husband was said to have returned home on the fateful day to discover his wife lying in the pool of her own blood.
He immediately reported the matter to the police who launched an investigation to uncover the mystery surrounding the case.
Reacting to the incident, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Musa Magaji Majia said: “The husband reported the matter to the police immediately he discovered his wife had been killed.”
There has been growing cases of rape and murder in the state with the major victims being housewives.
