Most of us here on planet earth work jobs to earn this thing called money, which we then spend on necessities like food, shelter, and maybe some stylish gear if we’re lucky.
Then there are people to whom money is not only no object, but merely a barrier between them and the lavish things they want to own. One such people is Pankaj Parakh, a wildly successful businessman in India who just celebrated his 45th birthday.
For us normal folks, a custom shirt from say, Charvet would be a real treat, but even those would likely be seen as rags to someone as shamelessly wealthy as Parakh.
See, he went out and had a $211,000, hand-spun 18K gold short-sleeved button down made to honor the occasion. It raises the question of why he couldn’t afford to have some slimmer sleeves cut, which really would have made the overall look a little more GQ, don’t you think? We guess if you’re going to worship a false, golden idol, it might as well be yourself.
