50 Cent’s Personal Bank Accounts Frozen Following $17 Million Judgement (DETAILS)

Must read

Rapper and businessman 50 Cent is not known for caring about the opinions of others, but  when it comes to court judgments, he may want to start paying attention.

A court ordered the rapper to pay Sleek Audio $12 million dollars in damages and $4.5 million dollars in attorney fees over a failed deal.

When 50 Cent failed to honor the judgement, his personal bank account was frozen. The mogul can’t even make a withdrawal from his personal account right now since it’s frozen due to his failure to honor the court’s decision.

A source close to the mogul, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, told a gossip blog that Jackson only has access to his business account but his personal accounts are frozen.

Sleek Audio sued Jackson after entering into a deal with him to produce a line of headphones. The lawsuit alleged that Jackson stole the designs he’d hired Sleek Audio to create.

Jackson and the audio producers were in court three years before a judge ruled against the rapper.

Jackson has allegedly been selling a design very similar to the one produced by Sleek Audio but it is produced by SMS.

According to Forbes, Jackson has a net worth of $140 million dollars.

In addition to his headphones, Jackson also has a clothing line and a successful record label. The rapper has also acted in several films and reportedly has a new upcoming film with Antoine Fuqua.

The rapper was most recently in the news due to his estranged relationship with his son, Marquis. The son of the multi-millionaire is reportedly trying to get a basketball scholarship for college.

During a recent interview, Marquis said Floyd Mayweather, who ended his friendship with 50 Cent after a disagreement, has become a mentor to him.

“He hasn’t given me any tips,” Jackson said of Mayweather. “But just seeing him work, his work ethic is motivation for me. I really pay attention to what he does in the boxing ring. It’s really inspiration for me. To see somebody have such a work ethic as his is just insane to me.”
