The leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) had demanded that its presidential aspirants should sign a binding undertaking in agreement that they would remain in the party even after the primaries whether they scaled through successfully or not.

According to reports by This Day, by the agreement, the aspirants have accepted to abide by the rules and regulations of the party as it affects the conduct of the presidential primaries.

The idea of the agreement came up after protest by three presidential aspirants namely  former Vice  President,  Atiku Abubakar, Kano Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso and Imo Governor, Rochas Okorocha.

Meanwhile, the party maintained that despite the protest, the presidential convention/primaries billed to hold on in Lagos on Wednesday, December 10, 2014, will still take place on the scheduled date.
