APGA Senatorial Aspirant Dies Same Day Her Name Was Submitted To INEC In Imo

A legal practitioner and senatorial candidate for The All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in Orlu senatorial district of Imo State, Ms Eudora Igwe, had died exactly the same day her name was submitted to Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, as the candidate for Orlu zone under the platform of  APGA.

Her death was confirmed  by the National Chairman of the party, Chief Victor Umeh, according to reports.

Late Ms Eudora Igwe of Orlu senatorial district who died the same day her name was submitted to INEC.

Until her death, she was a member of the Imo State House of Assembly on the platform of APGA.

The chairman stated that the deceased was a “grassroots mobiliser  who worked to empower women and youths.”

While expressing deep sorrow following her demise, Umeh said, “We have lost a rare gem, who impacted positivity into the lives of her people. We pray the almighty God gives her perfect peace and we pray that the family she left behind be comforted with the fact that she lived a good and exemplary life worthy of emulation.”
