Arsenal player Theo Walcott and wife Melanie Slade just welcomed a baby boy in the early hours of today. April 11, 2014.
The footballer made the announcement on his Facebook page this morning.
He wrote: “So over the moon to announce the birth of our baby boy Finley born this morning…. It’s amazing to be mummy & daddy! Love him so much x”
25-year-old Walcott married Slade, his childhood sweetheart, in June 2013 year at Castello di Vincigliata, near Florence in Italy.
The couple got engaged on New Year’s Eve 2012 at their Hertfordshire home and finally tied the knot after nine years of dating.
