President Muhammadu Buhari on Saturday, June 13, 2015 ordered the release of $21 million to the regional Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) for the execution of the war against insurgent group, Boko Haram.
President Buhari gave the directive at the African Union Peace and Security Council at the 25th AU summit in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The money will be released from the $100 million pledge Nigerria made to the MNJTF, which has its headquarters in Chad.
