Boko Haram Negotiation: ‘Why discuss when you can swiftly wipe them out?’ – Journalist Takes Swipe At Buhari (TWEETS)

Must read

Popular Nigerian journalist who is said to have links with the top hierarchy of the Boko Haram sect, Ahmad Salkida has criticized claims by President Muhammadu Buhari that he is currently in diskcussions with the insurgents in order to secure the release of over 200 schoolgirls abducted from Chibok, Borno State in April 2014.

Speaking via his Twitter account, Salkida gave reasons why the said negotiation was a bad idea.

Among other things, he stated that Boko Haram is no longer independent and was a province of the ISlamic State (ISIS).

He also wondered why the Nigerian government was negotiating when they could take on the insurgents and wipe them out.
