The Kedike queen, Chidinma Ekile on Tuesday, November 11, 2014, dropped a new single, ‘Martha’, which she dedicated to her mother, Mrs Martha Ekile whose voice was heard at the beginning part of the song.
The 23-year old Project Fame winner used the medium to reveal a secret about her life on Instagram which virtually no one knew before now.
She said she was born totally blind and with some health conditions but regained her sight through effortless prayers by her mum.
She said, ”I was conceived and certified totally blind at birth. For fifteen nights this woman held me in her hands and wept uncontrollably, with my father calling on God to bless newly born Chidinma with sight.
“On the 16th day I opened my eyes, and they been open ever since. I was born a very fragile baby with some health conditions. Her prayers took it all away.”
