The two exit gates of the University of Lagos State, UNILAG, in Akoka, Yaba were in the early hours of Monday, September 28, 2015 shut as students protest the torment they suffer by the invasion of bed bugs and mosquitoes in their hostels.

The Trent learnt that the protesting students are causing a serious gridlock around the institution.

The enraged students hanged some of the supposed bed bugs-infested foams on the school’s gate.UNILAG1

It was gathered that the students started the demonstration around 7am, although the school authorities are yet to react to the incident as at the time of filing this report.
