Nigeria’s President-elect, General Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday, April 21, 2015, moved into newly rehabilitated Defense House in Maitama, Abuja where he has been receiving guests ever since.

The Defense House is located opposite the People Democratic Party Campaign headquarters, Legacy House, is wearing a new look after being rehabilitated and handed over for the use of the President-elect.

Spokesman of the All Progressive Council (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, Mallam Shehu Garba told members of the press that the Defense House has been made available to the President-elect for his official engagements.

“Yes, the Defence House was handed over a few days ago after its renovation,” he wrote in a text message.

So far, the President-elect has played host to the Ghanaian President, John Mahama, and the ECOWAS chairman at the Defense House before he left for his campaign headquarters where he also received other delegates from Kogi and Kwara states.
