Pastor of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, COZA, Biodun Fatoyinbo has come under fire again after a member of his worship team, Gratitude, passed away.
A former vocalist with Gratitude, Nnenna Kalu-Ude has called out Pastor Fatoyinbo saying she has “kept quiet for so long” but can no longer hold it after her co-vocalist, Tega passed away.
In a series of posts to her Insta stories, she accused COZA of running a cult and treating the church workers unfairly.
“For so long they’ve played people like a game of chess… People may not speak because they are afraid of you… I don’t blame them, I was like that too. But I am no longer afraid. I left my fear at your gate on the day of my last workers’ meeting in your cult,” she wrote.
Nnenna speaking on the death of Tega, alleged she was hospitalized and did not receive any goodwill from the Pastor and his management team but was instead asked when she will be moving out of the house as she is not showing up to work.
She accused COZA of owing salaries for months and still expecting the singers to show up for work. She disclosed how the singers pay for their own flight tickets when they travel out of state for events. She added that the singers were evicted from their home and the church went as far as taking out all the furniture from the home just to force them out.
Also in her claims was that Fatoyinbo has been making sexual advances on the singers and his wife, Pastor Modele Fatoyinbo is in the know.
It can be recalled that Pastor Fatoyinbo was in 2019 accused of rape by photographer Busola Dakolo, wife of singer, Timi Dakolo. Prior to this, he made headlines when a former member of his church, Ese, confessed to having an adulterous affair with Fatoyinbo while on the workforce of COZA.
