Doctors Remove 120 MAGGOTS From Woman’s Eye and Nose After Fly Lays Eggs At Hospital (GRAPHIC PHOTOS)

Must read

We hope you can enjoy your Sunday roast after seeing this image of maggots in a woman’s eye.

She was taken to a hospital in Canada with various problems, but not actually these little critters that were found in her nose and eyelid.

It is believed that the fly that laid the eggs were from inside the hospital where she had been for several days.

A report in a Canadian medical journal states: ‘During the period, an adult fly (a green blow fly or a green bottle fly) was seen in the intensive care unit.

‘The patient was in a windowless private room that had an open door. The intensive care unit had no windows to the outdoors; thus, it was assumed that the fly had entered the intensive care unit from another part of the hospital.’

The image was taken in 2007 but is currently doing the rounds online, disgusting people all over the world.

Doctors removed 120 of the bugs from the woman’s eye and nose.

The photos that go with this story are too graphic for The Trent. You may view them HERE.
