Being a drug dealer is nothing to brag about, as a Florida man recently learned the hard way.
Taylor Harrison, 21, of Port St Lucie, was arrested on Thursday, May 8, 2014 after he posted selfies depicting himself sitting in a car shirtless with a pile of drugs and cash in his lap just a few feet away from a sheriff’s squad car.
The brazen 21-year-old self-described male stripper took the situation a step further, allegedly selling controlled substances to narcotics detectives from Martin County Sheriff’s Office who pulled up next to him.
In an apparent spirit of defiance, the suspected drug dealer then shared photos on his Facebook page of himself mid-drug transaction involving an officer, the station WPBF reported.
The sheriff’s office responded in kind, posting Harrison’s ill-thought selfies on its own Facebook page, along with the suspect’s mugshot.
‘Since Taylor was kind of enough to share photos of us on his Facebook page, we thought we would share these photos of Taylor on our page,’ law enforcement officials quipped.
Harrison’s selfies celebrating his alleged criminal lifestyle were accompanied by a shot of him taken by a narcotics detective posing as his customer.
Taylor Harrison is currently being held on $55,000 bond.
This is not the first time the 21-year-old alleged drug peddler ran afoul of the law in Martin County
Back in January, he was picked up by deputies on a misdemeanor drug charge.
