Ebola: Texas Health Workers Get Order To Stay At Home

Must read

Texas officials have ordered all the health care workers who had contact with the deceased Ebola victim in Dallas to sign legal documents agreeing to stay home.

The director of the Dallas County says the documents demands that all the 75 health care workers should stay indoors at their respective residents and not to expose themselves to public places or use public transport.

According to Judge Clay Jenkins “the agreements are binding legal documents that can be enforced with a variety of remedies.”

The decision to restrict these health workers to their homes was following the ongoing investigation by federal health officials who said they’re expanding their Ebola investigation to include all passengers on a Friday flight from Dallas to Cleveland that carried a nurse that was later diagnosed with the viruse.

Officials had begun contacting passengers on a flight that 29-year-old Amber Vinson took Monday, October 13, 2014 and are placing them under surveillance accordingly.
