Edo state Governor, Godwin Obaseki on Saturday, June 27, 2020 received his certificate of return from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Obaseki, who emerged the PDP governorship candidate in Edo state, received the certiicate alongside his deputy and running mate, Philip Shaibu at the Wadata Plaza, headquarters of the PDP, Abuja.
The duo will contest at the September 19, 2020, Edo governorship elections.
The event was attended by the PDP national chairman, Prince Uche Secondus.
Also in attendance was Governor Bala Mohammed, chairman of the Edo electoral panel and members of the committee.
