The Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Wednesday, January 27, 2015 sealed off an estate along Jabi Airport road junction in Abuja, which is said to be owned by the to the former Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Azubuike Ihejirika.
According to reports, the EFCC operatives who sealed off the property amid heavy security, allegedly manhandled an eye witness who was thought to have taken photos as they were sealing the phone.
It was also gathered that the said eyewitness’ phone was searched but the photos were not found.
Ihejirika is one of the former army chiefs currently being investigated in connection with the $2.1 arms deal scandal involving the former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki.
