In the wake of impeachment moves against Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose, reports have it that residents of the capital, Ado-Ekiti have staged a massive protest to voice their discontent over the development.
All Progressives Congress (APC) lawmakers in the state are attempting to oust the Governor over perceived gross constitutional breaches.
News further has it that heavily-armed security operaatives were spotted in starategic places in the state, including entry routes and the state House of Assembly complex.
