Afrobeat act, Seun Kuti shared a heartfelt message about his late father and afrobeat legend, Fela Anikulapo Kuti on the deceased’s 77th posthumous birthday.
The 32-year-old shared a photo of Fela with some of his wives and then wrote about the definition of true happiness according to his father:
“You told me that true happiness is to be yourself. You said it sounds easy but , Seun go on, try it ! Was ur parting shot. Hmmmm you are soooo right but I am happy small sha because I dey try and one day we shall all learn to be as happy as u were in ur personal life. The only thing that brought u Sadness and regret was that Africans never listened nd ur children will have to carry the fight still. Happy birthday father of Africa!!”
On August, 2, 2015 Fela Anikulapo-Kuti passed on as a result of Kaposi’s sarcoma which was brought on by AIDS.
