In what could be mistaken as a satire of the times, Keystone Bank has launched a promo for its customers. It is offering them a year of free fuel if they buy petrol using their Visa cards at Total outlets in Lagos.
In an email promo delivered to The Trent’s reporter on Thursday, November 26, 2015 titled, WIN FREE FUEL WITH YOUR KEYSTONE VISA CARD, Keystone Bank is offering this promo in conjunction with Total Filling Stations and encourages customers to use their KeyStone Visa cards to buy fuel total outlets.
Nigeria has suffered a long spell of fuel shortage which has brought untold hardship to citizens. The fuel crises, which is on-going, has seen petrol sold for as high as N400 per litre in some parts of Nigeria, making petrol one of the most expensive substances in the country.
