An apparently frustrated 17-year-old girl has poured acid on her 20-year-old boyfriend because he refused to marry her.
Police officials in Ballia, India are now on the trail to arrest her on charges of assault after the victim suffered serious injuries on the face.
According to the police investigation, Rajkumar Pal had been in a relationship with the girl who was desperate to get married.
She became angry when her boyfriend refused to marry her and decided to vent her anger by throwing acid on his face on Friday, May 29, 2015.
After the encounter, Pal went to a nearby health clinic for treatment before he was sent a hospital in Varanasi for further treatment.
Pal filed a complaint against his girlfriend with the police. Police are looking to arrest the girl, but so far, she managed to evade law enforcement, according to World Wide Weird News.
