The Ogun State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has alleged that the governor of the State Ibikunle Amosun has purchased about 40,000 Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) ahead of the Saturday, Aprill 11, 2015 gubernatorial polls.
Speaking via a statement issued by the Director of Media and Publicity of Gboyega Nasiru Isiaka Campaign Organisation, Ifekayode Akinbode, the PDP claimed that the plot was aimed at rigging the election
He said: ”It has come to our notice that the Ogun State governor, Sen. Ibikunle Amosun has purchased many of the uncollected PVCs for underhand use of the APC. While, Ogun INEC said about 400,000 cards remain uncollected, many of these cards are now in the possession of Amosun.”
