The Civil Realisation and Advancement Network, CRRAN, has threatened to invoke Section 193 of the 1999 Constitution (as amended) against Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for his continued delay in constituting a cabinet for Enugu State.
It has therefore given the governor seven days to do so or face a legal action.
In a statement on Wednesday, July 31, 2019, in Enugu by its coordinator, Olu Omotayo, the rights group contended that it was alien to the constitution for a governor to continue to run government without a cabinet more than one month after taking office.
