Die Hard Thieves Raid ATM Inside Police Station While Officers Were Sleeping

A group of unknown assailants had allegedly raided an Automated Teller Machine, ATM, at a police station and carted away with  a whooping sum of money in New Delhi, India.

Police sources at the New Delhi Command disclosed that they also stormed a tea shop located inside the station and made away with about 5,000 rupees ($81).

The incident unfolded early hours of Monday, November 3, 2014, when virtually all the staff in the command were in deep slumber.

It was learnt that an officer discovered that the ATM was raided when he went to withdraw some money after the incident.

According to World Wide Weird News, the police station was shut down while investigators were going over evidence. Police said that it is possible that the thieves had an accomplice inside the station.

Noone has been arrested yet in connection with the crime but it was gathered that the surveillance camera footages are being checked in order to trail the culprits and bring them to book.
