ABUJA, Nigeria — Joshua Selman has said he received a spiritual revelation concerning the death of an unnamed high-ranking Nigerian politician.
Selman, founder of Eternity Network International and leader of Koinonia Global, made the statement during the ministry’s September Miracle Service in Abuja on Sunday, September 27, 2026.
“I’m seeing a high-ranking politician in this nation. His time is up,” Selman said during the service.
He went on to describe a vision in which people had gathered for the politician’s burial.
The preacher did not provide a name, office, medical information, or timeframe for the prediction.
The full September 2026 Miracle Service was subsequently published through Koinonia Global’s official media platform.
Selman Says He Was Reluctant to Speak
Selman told worshippers that he had hesitated to disclose what he described as the revelation because of its sensitive nature.
He said he was not trying to spread fear or celebrate anyone’s death and presented the message as something he believed he was spiritually compelled to disclose.
Reports of the service said Selman also spoke about preparing and comforting the family of the unnamed person.
He did not identify the politician, indicate whether the person currently holds public office, disclose the individual’s political affiliation, or specify when the death he described would occur.
No independently verifiable evidence has established that any Nigerian politician is facing the event described by Selman. His statement remains a religious and prophetic claim.
The absence of identifying details has prompted speculation on social media, but there is no factual basis for linking the statement to any particular political figure.
Koinonia Global had not published additional details identifying the politician as of Monday.
