Two suicide bombers on Saturday, July 11, 2015 detonated explosives in two strategic locations in Maiduguri, the troubled capital of Borno State.
According to Reuters, the first suicide bomber, driving a three-wheeled vehicle or “Keke Napep” detonated the bomb close to the office of the Department of State Security (DSS).
According to security sources the explosion went off a few meters to the office around 7 am.
As at press time, at least one person, along with the bomber was confirmed dead, while hospital sources said at least four people are being treated for injuries.
The second bomb was said to have gone off close to a PHCN office near Adamawa Sunshine Express bus terminal, close to the Monday Market.Casualties for both explosions are yet to be ascertained.
