JUST IN: 20 Feared Dead As Explosion Rocks Teacher ID Verification Center In Zaria

At least 20 people are believed to have died in Sabon Gari, Zaria in Kaduna State on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 when a bomb went off as primary school teachers and public staff were undergoing identity verification.According to AFP, although  the actual number of casualties is yet to be known, it is expected to be considerably high.

A local government worker, Mahmud Abbas who spoke to the agency said: “The explosive went off at about 9:00 am… The area has been taken over by security personnel but high casualties are likely.”
