President Goodluck Jonathan has ordered the immediate suspension of the permanent secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Danjuma Sheni, following the recall of Nigeria’s high commissioner to South Africa.
The recall came in the wake of xenophobic attacks on foreigners in South Africa.
