Due to the recent scarcity of petroleum products across the country, Lagos State residents in Ikeja took to the streets to protest the prolonged situation on Monday, May 25, 2015.
The peaceful protest was staged to pass the message of elapsing patience among Nigerians as the power outages and fuel scarcity worsens. Transport fares have a risen to ridiculous prices and the protesters feel they are no longer able to cope.
The pictures of the protest were posted on Twitter by Gidi Traffic.
