Man Arrested By Police For Hijacking Dangote’s Trailer Load Of Cement

Adamu Ibrahim, a 30 year old man has been arrested by the Kogi State Police Command over the hijack of a trailer load of cement belonging to Obajana cement company, a subsidiary of Dangote Group.

Samuel Ogunjemilusi, the Kogi State Police Commissioner, revealed this to newsmen while parading scored of suspects at the state command Headquarters in Lokoja on Friday, June 5, 2015

The Commissioner stated that two other suspects of the hijack are still at large.

However, he assured that the police will ensure that they were apprehended by any means possible.

He further stated that the state Police Command was very much on their toes and ever ready to combat with criminals.

Among those paraded were a Fulani man in his middle ages, identified as Iliyasu who was alleged to be the leader of the gang that had been terrorising Bassa Local Government axis.

Iliyasu is also being arraigned over the gruesome murder of late Engineer Lolo Alhassan from Bassa Local Government.
