A man was arrested on a charge of homicide after allegedly beating his brother to death after finding him naked in the bedroom he shares with his wife, police in Zimbabwe said.
Bulawayo police said that they have arrested 29-year-old Gatsha Masotsha, after he became enraged, following the revelation that his brother was having sex with his wife while he was not home.
Masotsha was charged with one count of culpable homicide.
According to the police investigation, around 1:00 a.m.,
Masotsha arrived to his home on Tiat Roads. He knocked on the bedroom door, and his wife let him inside.
A few minutes later, Masotsha heard a strange sound coming from the next room. Masotsha sent his wife to check it out, but she returned and said that it was nothing.
Dissatisfied, Masotsha proceeded to the room, and saw his brother standing naked. Masotsha assaulted his brother by punching him all over the body.
He then slammed his brother’s head into a wall. The brother then confessed that he had a sexual relationship with the wife.
Later that night, Aleck Masotsha Moyo died as a result of the injuries.
