A man was captured via the CCTV as he rammed into his ex-wife and her lover and came out of his car to assault the man’s corpse outside a police station.
The man from China rammed into the couple but the woman identified only as Qin survived the attack with severe injuries while the man named Min died shortly after the arrival of emergency services.
According to reports, the attack took place at around 10 am on September 29, 2015 in Tianchang city, Anhui province.
The victims had just got out of a taxi which had stopped in front of the police station when a black car drove into them at high speed by the man identified only as Zhang, a former husband to Qin.
The attack is thought to be a crime of passion given recent disputes between the estranged couple, although few details have been released as to the history of their relationship.
Zhang is being held in custody by police while an investigation takes place.
Despite the attack taking place outside a police station, neither the security guard on duty or bystanders in the vicinity chose to intervene as Zhang assaulted his victims after the horrific collision.
