A married female teacher has been caught in the middle of a steamy romp with a 15-year-old female student.
33-year-old Lauren Mitchell of New Jersey, was caught in the act at her family home while her husband was away.
Mitchell is a second-grade teacher at the Dr. Lena Edwards Academic Charter School in Jersey City and the illicit relationship was discovered by fellow teachers who noticed inappropriate interactions between the duo during a class trip and subsequently alerted the police.
Mitchell was arrested and charged with one count of aggravated sexual assault and one count of endangering the welfare of a child, World Wide Weird News reports.
She is being held at the Bergen County Jail on $150,000 bond. She was ordered to stay away from the student whose identity was withheld.
