Influence is hard to measure, and what we see here is people whose ideas, whose example, whose talent, whose discoveries transform the world we live in. It is less about the hard power of force than the soft power of ideas and example.

Here are Presidents and dictators known as the G7 who have changed the world through their ideas and courage.

They are the seven wealthiest major developed nations on Earth by national net wealth, representing more than 63% of the net global wealth.

Following  the recent crisis between Ukraine and Russia, the leaders of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States, President of the European Council and the President of the European Commission (G7 leaders) met in Brussels on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 in the G7 format to find possible solution to the crisis  as well as other global foreign policy issues, the global economy, energy, climate change and development.
